Art and culture exist in every part of human life, shaping how we remember, celebrate and understand who we are. But what happens when that art is stolen? When sacred artefacts are torn from their communities, or masterpieces vanish into private collections?

I created and hosted this series, leading the research, scripting, and production to uncover the hidden lives of stolen art: what it means to lose it, and what it takes to fight for its return. Through interviews with experts, we trace the modern battle for restitution and expose the illicit networks behind looted cultural artefacts.
