Outlore with Eleanor Neale
I began as a Scriptwriter and Researcher for Eleanor Neale’s YouTube channel and podcast. Within six months, I was promoted to Head Scriptwriter and Researcher. I helped rebrand the channel in 2025 to Outlore and grew it into a Top 10 podcast on the US Spotify charts. I developed and delivered content for an audience of 3.5M+ across platforms, shaping content strategy, creative direction and narrative structure.
Featured Projects
This episode demonstrates one of the most impactful examples of my work. I pitched, researched, developed, and scripted it for Pride Month, recognising that stories centred on lesbian women and systemic injustice remain under-represented in the true crime space. My work involved documentary-style storytelling, in-depth research, fact-checking, sensitivity checking and mindful narrative shaping to ensure the episode was both compelling and thought-provoking.
The episode reached nearly two million views across platforms and was featured in Spotify's Best True Crime Podcasts of 2025.
Some stories demand more than attention and outrage; they deserve empathy. In developing this episode on the tragic story of Zara Aleena, I transformed the complexities of her case into a clear, accessible, and compassion-driven narrative that resonated with over 1 million viewers.
I also incorporated the inspiring work of #Reclaim the Streets, using Outlore’s platform to amplify their voice and fearless campaign against gender-based violence. I believed Zara’s story urgently needed to be told, not only to honour her life but also to expose the systemic failures that continue to enable violence against women in the UK.
